The many islands dotted about the vast expanse
of water have resident wildlife including kudu, hippo, impala and elephant.
Elephant and even lion have been known to swim from the “mainland” to the
islands.
The sunsets, sunrises and star gazing from the
lake are spectacular. Fishing and game viewing can all be enjoyed in
wonderful seclusion from the stylish lodges, comfortable guest houses or
houseboats available on the lake.
