Ethiopian Airlines

Effective 01st January 2014 to 31st March 2014 Ethiopian Airlines will temporary suspend operations on the Addis Ababa – Dammam route, where it previously operated 3 weekly flights. From 01st April 2014, services will be resumed with 2 weekly operations, however it will be operating as an Addis Ababa – Kuwait – Dammam – Addis Ababa.

Ethiopian Airlines

Effective 04th March Ethiopian Airlines cancels the Addis Ababa – Seychelles service, where it currently operates 3 weekly flights with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Malawian Airlines

New African start-up carrier Malawian Airlines has revised its planned operation, as per 10th January 2014, Malawi Airlines will tentatively start operations from 15th January 2014

Qatar Airways

QATAR Airways will have a  3 weekly Doha – Johannesburg – Maputo route, on route a Boeing 787-8 effective 02nd May 2014.

South African Airways

Effective 16th December 2013, South African Airways has expanded codeshare operations with mango, covering additional 6 routes operated by the low-cost carrier. New codeshare routes are as follows:-

Cape Town – Bloemfontein
Cape Town – Port Elizabeth
Johannesburg – Cape Town
Johannesburg – Durban
Johannesburg – George
Johannesburg – Port Elizabeth
