Qatar Airways and British Airways

Effective 08th April 2014, QATAR Airways and British Airways will begin reciprocal codeshare operations. This codeshare operation covers service beyond London Heathrow and Doha, excluding flights between the 2 airports.

Kenya Airways

Effective 06th July 2014 Kenya Airways will add a 3rd weekly rotation between Nairobi – Luanda, with the new flight operating on Sundays.

Kenya Airways

is further boosting its planned capacity increase on the Nairobi – Lagos service, which will begin from 04th June 2014. From 04th June 2014, the Skyteam member will operate the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft 3 times a week, replacing the 737-800. By 03rd August 2014, the daily KQ532/533 services will be served by the Boeing 777 aircraft

Kenya Airways

has re-scheduled the planned Boeing 787-8 operations for the Nairobi – Johannesburg service, which sees the Dreamliner operating this route once a day.

Air Mauritius

from 15th July 2014 to 20th August 2014, Air Mauritius will add a 4th weekly service on the Mauritius – Kuala Lumpur route, operating on Tuesdays from Mauritius, and on Wednesdays from Kuala Lumpur. This will be operated on an Airbus A340-300 aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines

Effective 30th March 2014 will introduce operations between the Addis Ababa – Hong Kong – Seoul Incheon route on a Boeing 787, replacing the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. This service operates 4 times a week.

United Airline

From 05th May 2014 to 22nd September 2014, United Airlines is further increasing operations from Houston – Lagos, with the addition of a 7th weekly service, on a Boeing 787 aircraft.

Singapore Airlines

Effective 30th May 2014 will begin an Airbus A380 service to India, where it’ll operate a daily Singapore – Delhi and Singapore – Mumbai route. As a result of the introduction of A380 operation, Singapore Airlines will reduce overall operations on both routes, from 3 to 2 daily. Singapore Airlines is scheduled to be the first A380 operator to operate the Super Jumbo to India.


Effective 01st October 2014, Emirates will begin Airbus A380 operations on the Dubai – Dallas service on a daily basis, replacing the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. This represents an increase of 83% in terms of capacity.

Korean Air

Will operate a Boeing 747-400 aircraft in late April 3 times a week on the  Seoul Incheon – Vienna – Zurich – Seoul Incheon service, instead of a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The 747 is scheduled to operate from 22nd April 2014 to 29th April 2014
