Islands of Siankaba.

Hotel description

Islands of Siankaba is an intimate boutique lodge situated some 24 miles from the Victoria Falls and is almost equidistant to Chobe National Park on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River. Guests are transferred by boat from the reception on the mainland, to the two islands on which the lodge itself is situated. One has an amazing feeling of heading into deepest Africa.

The unique feature of the lodge is the series of walkways and bridges that link the two islands together. The islands both support mature, shady trees and lush vegetation thus being a haven for bird life.

The one island has the tented dining room, lounge and bar area, all with open sides. There are various outdoor seating areas for relaxing, including a hammock and a secluded pool nestled amongst the bush nearby.
