Based on a privately owned 1500 hectare Miombo Woodland Game farm on the Zambia Copperbelt, Nsobe Game Camp takes its name from the Sitatunga Antelope. The Game Camp is 60 kms south of Ndola and 60 kms north of Kapiri Mposhi on the Great North Road. Nsobe is the perfect place for game viewing, bush walks, birding, fishing and canoeing, or just relaxing as the sun goes down, the Zambian way!

Room description

The accommodation is varied and ranges from camping to self-catering chalets. Most units are located on the water's edge with great access to fishing and bird viewing.

Some chalets are tucked into the forest and the others are right on the waters edge. All have decks to sit on in the evening to watch the sun set  and are fully furnished, with bedding and towels provided.

Accomodation can be in terms of:

  • Family chalets
  • Mukuyu Bush Camp
  • Self catering chalets
  • Camping

Meals and drinks are provided at the main restaurant and bar.

Restaurants

Nsobe restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor eating in a landscaped setting by a beautiful dam. The bar area in a thatched roof building with views over the dam, or at rustic tables and chairs on gently sloping lawns or right by the water.

The choice of dishes on the bistro-style menu suits the relaxed environment. E.g. an exceptional steak or chicken accompanied by chips and fresh salad. The bar has a choice of soft and alcohol beverages.

Guests staying in the safari tents and chalets enjoy this dining experience as part of their accommodation package – a full English breakfast every morning and a three course dinner in the evening. Lunches are available separately. The restaurant is also there for guests staying at the self-catering chalets, whenever they want to take a break from cooking, and for conference delegates.
