Zambia doubles visa fees
- Zambia has revised its visa fees effective January 1, resulting in higher costs for travelers from visa-requiring countries. The fee for a single-entry visa valid for stays of up to 90 days has doubled from US$25 to US$50, while the double-entry visa fee has increased from US$40 to US$80. The cost of a multiple-entry visa has also risen slightly, from US$75 to US$80.
Fees for the KAZA Univisa and the day-tripper visa remain unchanged at US$50 and US$10, respectively.
Despite the fee increases, Zambia continues to maintain one of Africa’s most liberal visa regimes. In 2025, the number of visa-exempt countries expanded to 167, with only 31 countries currently requiring visas to enter the Southern African nation.
