SUSPENSION OF TURKISH AIRLINES LUSAKA FLIGHTS FROM MAY 2026 TO OCTOBER 2026
- Effective May 14, 2026, Turkish Airlines will suspend its flight operations in Lusaka for the remainder of the summer 2026 season. The airline cited rising global and local operational costs as the reason for this decision.
Services connecting Istanbul and Lusaka are currently scheduled to resume on October 25, 2026, coinciding with the start of the winter 2026 season. Turkish Airlines has expressed its apologies for any inconvenience this suspension may cause to its partners and passengers.
