Zambia's Vibrant Hotel and Lodge Scene Spotlighted in Regional Tourism Edition

- According to the latest Zimbabwe-Zambia edition of Tourism Update (June 2026), Zambia continues to strengthen its position as a top safari and adventure destination through a diverse selection of high-quality hotels and lodges.

In the Livingstone area, properties benefit from city enhancements and proximity to Victoria Falls. Notable options include the Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara, which offers elegant riverfront accommodation and seamless access to the falls and surrounding attractions.

South Luangwa National Park features several standout lodges. Kaingo Camp, a long-established riverside property, is undergoing significant upgrades for enhanced guest experiences. Shawa Luangwa Camp provides an intimate, eco-friendly stay with strong emphasis on guiding expertise, while Chongwe River Lodges (including Chongwe River House and Camp) deliver refined riverside comfort ideal for game viewing.

Kafue National Park is highlighted for its exclusive offerings, such as the Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp, where elevated tents provide immersive views and luxury in one of Africa’s largest protected areas. These properties appeal particularly to travellers seeking wilderness seclusion and photographic opportunities.

In Lower Zambezi National Park, Royal Zambezi Lodge stands out for its prime riverside location, supporting activities like canoe safaris and wildlife drives in a scenic setting.

The edition also notes growing interest in northern circuits, including developments around Kasaba Bay on Lake Tanganyika, where new lodge options are expanding lakeside hospitality.

This range of hotel and lodge destinations underscores Zambia’s commitment to delivering varied, memorable stays that complement its natural attractions. As featured in the Tourism Update regional edition, these properties support multi-destination travel, including collaborations around shared sites like Victoria Falls.
